Drivers 💾

Welcome to the Windows USB Drivers page for the DC-1! If you're planning to modify your device, flash custom builds, or dive into development on a Windows machine, you'll need the correct drivers installed. This page has you covered. ⚙️

Why You Need Drivers 🧐

Windows doesn’t natively recognize the DC-1 in all of its boot modes—especially when it's in fastboot, preloader, or recovery mode. Without the proper MediaTek USB drivers, your PC won’t be able to talk to the device, which means no flashing, no debugging, no fun. 😢

Installing the right drivers ensures that tools like SP Flash Tool, ADB, and fastboot work reliably on your Windows system.

The official MediaTek USB Drivers can be downloaded here:

➡️ MTK_Android_USB_Driver.zip (opens in a new tab)

Make sure to extract the ZIP file and follow the instructions included inside the archive. You may need to disable driver signature enforcement on some versions of Windows during installation. 🧩

Troubleshooting Tips 🛠️

  • Still not detecting your device? Try a different USB cable or port (preferably USB 2.0).
  • If you're stuck on driver signature issues, boot Windows into advanced startup and select the option to disable driver signature enforcement.
  • Double check that MediaTek Preloader shows up in Device Manager when the device is plugged in while powered off.
